Estonian new fashion and design movie series “Northen Spirit” has been created by Estonian Fashion Brand’s Association (EFBA), the Estonian Designers Association (EDL) and the Estonian Design House (EDH). The film features over twenty beloved Estonian fashion, product design and beauty brands to showcase the versatility, unique story and export potential of Estonian design.
Roberta Einer’s, Tanel Veenre’s, Tiina Talumehe’s, Kristina Viirpalu’s, Oksana Tandit’s, Anu Samarüütli’s, Ivo Nikkolo’s, Baltman’s, Monton’s, Elmet Treier’s, Sangar’s, Uncle Paul’s, Framed by Karl’s, Riina O’s, Stella Soomlaisi’s, D’Difference’s and Mari Masso’s creation can be found among the Estonian design and fashion series “Northern Spirit”.
The author of the concept “Northern Spirit” and the leader of the team is Helen Sirp. The film plays our design with the Nordic aura in a modern key through its characteristic elements, having Estonia’s beautiful nature in a background. A total of five different shooting locations were used at Laulasmaa, Paldiski and Lahemaa’s National Park.
The film’s group included: artistic director Helen Sirp, photographer Kertin Vasser, stylist Oksana Tandit, production team of Andri Peetso, Tony Hitrov and Risto Merimaa, makeup and hairstyle team of Helen Heinroos, Lana Vallo, Aigi Põllu, Aljona Borovik and Marija Lotta, team assistant Birgit Naska. The beauty of the Estonian design was shown by the beautiful models Liis-Kristin and Ave (MJ Model Management), Ellu and Erko (AL Model Management), Aasmäe, Kreeta and Ken (E.M.A). Northen Spirit is made possible by Kaubamaja, EFBA, EDL, EDH and participating design brands.
The film is being used to introduce Estonian design, fashion and beauty internationally as well as nationally at Estonian major events.
