Unique delegation of established Estonian fashion, design and beauty brands were showcased in Toronto, Canada at the event series called Northern Spirit EstoStyle September 29th – October 2nd, 2017.

Northern Spirit EstoStyle was a joint effort between Estonian-Canadians and Estonians to develop cultural ties between creative and talented designers in Estonia and Canada and to get the first introduction to the Canadian market. The event was also a great opportunity to celebrate both Estonia’s 100th and Canada’s 150th birthdays.

Canada was the first place where the Estonian Fashion Brands Association’s concept Northern Spirit was presented, representing the Nordic aura of Estonian design in a modern key. Northern Spirit is the newly created export format for the introduction of Estonian design and fashion into international markets and brings together various elements, from the spectacular fashion showcase – performance to showroom concept and presentation materials.

Estonian fashion, design and beauty brands showcased in Toronto were: Tanel Veenre Jewellery, Oksana Tandit, Monton, Baltman, Ivo Nikkolo, D’Difference, Roberta Einer and Sangar.

The visit to Toronto took place in cooperation with EFBA (Estonian Fashion Brands Association), EERO (Estonian Ecumenical Relief Organization) and ESC / VEMU (Estonian Studies Center in Toronto), involving activities from the fashion showcase in Royal Ontario Museum (ROM) in front of 4000 people to Estonian fashion & design showroom in Tartu College, charity shows and meetings with media, bloggers and partners.
